About the founder

Prior to founding Ad Sales Associates, I spent 43 years in publishing.  I have worked in sales, sales management and publisher roles at Cahners Publishing (Reed), Hayden Publishing (VNU), Intertec (Primedia), Questex Asia, Mobile Media Group, SEMI, American Express Publishing and Others.

For the trade association, SEMI, I built a worldwide publishing organization, founded Semiconductor Manufacturing magazine, and published Directories and Show Dailies for nine SEMICON shows in the US, Europe and Asia. I also managed the sales of manufacturing standards.

In my role of managing North American sales for a large Chinese/American publisher joint venture, I represented five Asian magazines, and managed trade show booth sales.

In my early career, I worked in television and owned a small advertising agency that launched the first US ad campaign for the then unknown, Ryobi Tools.

I am on the board of directors of the National Association of Publishers Representatives, and serve on the eBay/PayPal user advisory board.
